Hojicha Syrup
Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp of hojicha loose leaf
- 1 cup of water
- 7 oz of cane sugar (or brown sugar)
Directions:
- Pour water and cane sugar into a pot
- Put the pot on high heat and continuously stir it until combined
- Lower the heat once bubbles start appearing
- Add hojicha loose leaf to the pot before it starts to boil
- Cook it on medium heat for a minute and gently stir it (don’t stir too much)
- Cover and wait for three minutes
- Strain it
- Pour the liquid into a mason jar and cool to room temperature before putting it in a fridge
How to Make Latte with Hojicha Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of oatmilk
- 1.5 tbsp of hojicha syrup
Directions:
- Pour hojicha syrup into a mug
- Froth warm oatmilk and pour it into the mug
