I have consumed half of the bag's contents and have thoroughly enjoyed each cup. The flavor profile is that of a sweet green tea with a subtle hint of peach. While I genuinely appreciate this tea, it does lean towards the sweeter end of the spectrum. The tea itself is a finely blended powder, rather than a loose leaf variety. It dissolves and mixes effectively with hot water, resulting in a smooth consistency. Considering both the quality and quantity, the price seems quite reasonable.
I am not really a tea person unless it is some sort of mixed drink with tea as the base. I usually prefer a fruit tea over a plain cup of green tea. Recently, I tried to cut back on drinking coffee as I felt the negative effects of coffee. I know caffeine from tea has the antioxidant benefits and I like green tea the most.
I was excited to have the opportunity to try Yokohama Peach Powdered Japanese Green Tea. This tea is lightly sweetened and has a peach flavor that smells amazing once mixed with water. I tried it as a hot tea first and found it leave an astringent after-taste even with additional sugar or honey added. Today, I decided to make an iced tea and added passionfruit juice and dragonfruit bits. The result was so delicious and irresistible!!! 😋 I was worried the powder would not dissolve if mixed with room temperature water but it dissolved completely without much effort.
I feel this tea is worth the claim of being a premium quality as I came across some low-quality powdered tea in the past. This product is well worth $25. I would recommend it.
This tea is absolutely amazing~ I’ve always been scared to try the instant stuff but this was delightful. I know it’s not the prettiest tea, but the flavor and the aroma are just perfect. It’s light but you can definitely taste the peach. It’s not American peaches either, it’s the big sweet pink ones from Japan 🥰 plus you only need 2-3 teaspoons for a cup so even though it doesn’t look like much, it really lasts a long time. (The picture below is after about 3 months of me and my husband drinking it)
I love this tea! It is a little pricey for the amount you're getting, but the flavor is exceptional. I like that it dissolves into water much more smoothly than other brands I've tried, the green tea flavor is lovely and there is a hint of peach and a light sweetness I really enjoy. This is the highest quality of green tea I've tried and I'm afraid I can't go back! I will be ordering more soon.
Don't let the big reusable bag fool you, it is just over 3ozs of product in there. The rest is air, though it is a nice bag. Now on to the taste. Yep. I used an insulated cup and a stirring spoon, and this tastes clean and fresh with just a hint of sugar. This is not going to make anyone who dislike green tea suddenly enjoy it. but the hint of sweetness makes it convenient for anyone who doesn't want ocha plain. I drank it hot, but this time of year, this would be refreshing on ice too.
What a nice blend! I tend to enjoy a matcha latte, but I first tried it plain. It's very smooth with a light hint of peach flavor that stands out from other brews I've tried. It's not bitter or acidic at all. I have yet to try it with milk or with ice yet, but I suspect it makes a very lovely iced tea as well! Overall, I highly recommend this as a thoughtful gift for the matcha lover you know.

Strong green tea aroma upon opening that's got a sweet, peachy undertone. Pretty fine powder, but I noticed a bit of a gritty texture unless I use my handheld frother and some hot water. If I add hot water and froth, it's perfect!
Nice, strong green tea flavor, lovely hint of peach and a bit of sweetness to balance it all out. Not too peachy though, not overly sweet and thankfully the peach doesn't have that weird artificial flavor/aftertaste that some flavored drinks do.
I LOVE doing coconut-based lattes with my green tea powders/matchas. Since this is such a unique green tea powder, I thought it would be ideal for a latte. It did not disappoint! I mixed a little hot water first to fully dissolve the powder, then added coconut milk and frothed it into a really sweet little latte.

You can just smell the hit of green tea and soon as you open the bag. It only takes a little to make a cup and the peach gives it a slightly sweet taste without overpowering the green tea. I mixed 3 teaspoons in with 8 oz of water and shook it up. Mixed well, It was a bit gritty when I drank it. But all in all it is a pleasant taste.
I am not a green tea drinker normally but this might just change my mind.
Normally I am suspicious of pairings with matcha - not a big fan of coconut with matcha, for example. I've similarly tried a few others like hibiscus, strawberry and rose, and they all were somewhere between "interesting" and undesirable.
This one, on the other hand, is actually quite nice. The trick likely comes down to balancing a mild, non-conflicting flavor like peach, which is blended in here in just the right amount. The aroma of peach is mild as is the flavor, but it absolutely is there. A balanced amount of sugar tops off the blend.
The powder itself is a fine blend and mixes easily in lukewarm water (which is what I normally do, adding ice for a cold drink in the summer). The match used is good quality and fresh - still looks more green than brown.
However the value for money isn't particularly there for daily drinking - instead this is much better spent as a sampler or gift. The whole packet will give you about 10 large cups of tea.

First off, the taste is not too sweet, it has a very mellow flavor. If you're sensitive to sweet drinks but don't want straight green tea. This might be the tea for you.
Secondly the smell is fantastic! It has a very aromatic tea smell.
The tea mixes very well, didn't clump up like other teas I've tried.
That said, one con would be the cost. $25 for a smallish bag might be a bit much.
The quality of this seems pretty good and the smell when added to warm water suggests a strong peach flavor than you'll taste. For me, that's a good thing as some products like this can be overpowering with added flavors.
It blends smoothly with hot water and I've enjoyed it. I'll just say it's a little pricey. You get three ounces in the bottom of a pretty large bag. I feel like if they'd packaged it in size closer to match the volume of the product, it wouldn't seem as bad but I'm sure this design is to create the appearance you're getting a little more than you actually are.
Having said all that, though, I know high quality Japanese green tea is usually pricey so this may be entirely in line with the product category. I might just be a simpler audience when it comes to this sort of thing.

You are still going to get the scent of fresh cut grass, and a slight flavor of grass but the peach really helps soften that and combine for a refreshing drink. The product is easy to use, just add 2-3 tsp of the powder to either hot or cold water. I chose hot water and 3 tsp as I really wanted the flavor to come through. Stir and enjoy!

I'm usually fairly wary of powdered drinks, usually because the ones I've tried in the past clump up, or typically don't taste good. This does neither. The powder dissolved/incorporated into the water super well, and the peach taste is really good. I like my drinks sweeter, and this has the perfect amount of sweet for me.
The flavor is near perfect! It’s not overly sweet. It’s definitely green tea forward, as it should be. It is just a touch of peach, I can smell it more than I can taste it. Just enough to be noticeable but it’s not a punch you in the face burst of flavor. If you are looking for something with that big note of fske peach flavor and sugar, this is not for you. It disssolves most of the way in cold water, I think some of it just naturally is unable to dissolve but you do get the flavor throughout so to me that’s the important part!
