This tea is the best when you’re not feeling good. 😭 I could hardly speak all week and I was binge drinking this. The honey flavor is so perfectly balanced by the black tea, not super overpowering but definitely present. The smell is so nice and warm too~ I’ve had hundreds of tea’s in my time, from all over the world. This one is an absolute must try for any tea connoisseur.

I really enjoyed this one more than I expected. The box came well sealed and inside were 25 packed tea bags which kept everything fresh and easy to grab one at a time.The flavor is super smooth with a light honey sweetness that doesn’t feel artificial or overpowering. I’ve been drinking it in the evenings and it feels calming, especially after a long day. It’s also easy on the stomach compared to some stronger teas I’ve tried before.Nice little daily comfort drink that feels a bit more special than regular black tea.

I drink tea every day and enjoy the pick me up it gives you. This Japanese tea gives you a mild tea flavor that is presweetened with dried Osaka honey. When you smell the tea bags you get a floral aroma of honey. The instructions on bag indicates you should brew this tea at 180 F for 2 minutes (rather than the usual 212 F for black tea). This way you get a mellower drink as some of the stronger tannins are pulled into solution at higher temperatures. The tea was certainly on the sweet side. You can also add milk or your favorite creamer to the tea. This tea works very well both as a hot tea or an iced tea. You can also brew a 2nd and 3rd cup from this tea bag, although all the honey comes out in the initial brewing.

The flavor of this tea is great. The honey pieces in it sweeten it a lot, so if you don't like sweet tea this might be too sweet for you hot, but if you make it cold and add ice cubes to it, it will cut down on some of that sweetness. I like it both hot and cold, but it's an early day drink for me as it has a lot of caffeine in it.The price is where I have an issue. Right now it is $1.20 a serving, quite expensive when other black tea bags that feature honey are currently anywhere from $0.13 - $0.80 a piece. So, while I like this tea, I think I will try others before I get this one again due to the steep price difference.

This is one of those healthier options I can make for him without worrying about a blood sugar spike/crash happening afterwards.Just know that those people who are aversive to the taste (and aftertaste) of artificial sweeteners may not find this to be their cup of tea.

This tea has a good initial black tea flavor and it ends with a mellow honey after taste. I’m not a fan of hot tea so I did not try this hot but it was very refreshing when iced.At roughly $1.32 a bag, it is a bit on the pricier side of bagged teas. I’d purchase again but drink it sparingly.Tip; if you find it too sweet, add a little lemon to balance it out.

The selection of both the black tea and the honey (flavor being affected by the flower used by the bees) is great and the resulting brew is quite tasty, a bit sweeter than expected given that it's all in a tea bag, but definitely not too sweet.The black tea has a bit of chaff which is not ideal although it didn't seem to have a significant effect on the flavor. The tea bags are rather generic with the paper tabs having no info - I'd like brand, type and brew instructions on it. Especially considering the seal bag has all the tea bags inside loose, so you might end up transferring some bags to a smaller container. Price at a bit over 1 USD per bag is on the expensive side until they improve these things.

A flavorful sweet tea that has a slight taste of artificial sweetener. While it is a bit costly, it does come already sweetened and is made from clean ingredients. It contains honey powder, which is what I would expect the sweetness to come from. However, it has two other sweeteners in its ingredients, stevia and aspartame. These are what I experience as an aftertaste. I am not a fan of the artificial sweeteners and would prefer honey as the only sweetener.

I’m a big fan of tea and I’ve been drinking more and more since kicking my soda habit over a year ago. I like to drink hot tea in the mornings and evenings, and I make a pitcher of iced tea to drink all day long.This Osaka Honey Japanese Black Tea did not disappoint…in fact, I’d call it phenomenal. The tea arrives in a foil lined pouch with a zip top to keep everything fresh inside. There is an expiration date printed on the pouch that’s 7 months away so I have plenty of time to enjoy it. You get 25 pyramid shaped bags with stings and tags, and I find that a little on the expensive side at the current $30 price. If I had an unlimited budget, I’d be drinking this all day, everyday but it’s going to be a special, now-and-then treat for me simply because it’s over a dollar per bag.This is top quality tea, and it’s amazingly delicious. The directions on the bag say to add one bag to 8 ounces of hot water, and when I did that, the flavor was too strong for my taste. I think the perfect flavor comes from 16 ounces of water instead, which cuts down on the intense sweetness but you still get the strong honey flavor. The tea is robust and flavorful and when the hot water is added, it fills my entire kitchen with the scent of tea and honey. I never smell my grocery store 100 bags to a box tea as it’s brewing but that’s budget friendly, mass produced, lower quality tea. Just a splash of milk makes this a delectable, creamy treat with a strong honey flavor.I’ve used 5 of the bags to make an entire gallon of iced tea and it was a real treat with a little squeeze on lemon. Just boil 3 quarts of cold filtered water and add 5 bags, removing the pan from the heat. Let steep for about 10-15 minutes, then pour into a pitcher filled to the top with ice and refrigerate. Using just 5 bags makes a dark, flavorful iced tea and there’s no need for added sugar because the level of honey sweetness is on point.There are 39.3 calories per bag, with 2 grams of carbohydrates and 0.9g of sugar, so that might be something to consider for some folks. The pouch is small at 2.2 ounces (62.5g) so it’s easy to find a spot in my pantry for this. As a premium tea, it’s going to be hard to top this one.

In true Italian-grandmother fashion, I tend to treat recipes and instructions as “suggestions.” I brewed one bag in a 16-ounce mug and thought it was absolutely perfect. The flavor remained rich, the honey notes came through beautifully, and I got a generous-sized cup from a single bag.The pyramid tea bags allow the tea leaves room to expand, and the tea brews quickly with a full-bodied flavor. It can be enjoyed hot or cold, and I suspect it will make an excellent iced tea during the warmer months.My only hesitation is the price. This JAPANESE GREEN TEA CO. Osaka Honey black tea has been one of the most enjoyable teas I've tried in my lifetime. The aroma alone is wonderful and fills a room with a rich honey fragrance before you even take the first sip. The flavor is naturally, unbelievably sweet without it being overpowering. It's easy to enjoy on its own without needing to add anything. There's something about this tea that almost feels like you're drinking a secret weapon, whether you're trying to relax after a long day or simply want something comforting to sip on. Each cup is so smooth, balanced and consistently enjoyable. This is a tea that has immediately earned a permanent place in my pantry. Highly recommend.

I've previously tried other versions of tea from this company and have enjoyed them. This one is no different. The honey flavor gives it a unique taste that I really enjoy. At over $1 per bag, it's on the pricey side so I'll save them as a special treat. I think it's a good quality tea.

This is mostly tea flavor, which is good, that’s what I want. The taste of honey is very minimal, it’s slight you have to think about it being there. You get an aroma of honey though for sure. It’s not overly sweet, it’s perfect if you don’t want something like sweet tea but it’s just a bit more than unsweetened tea. The powder does mix through well leaving only a bit of sediment at the bottom.

This is some super tasty tea. I have never tried Japanese black tea, just many different green teas. This one is so good. Slightly floral but earthy and lots of nice tannins. The dried honey that is included in the tea blend is super interesting and provides the perfect level of sweetness for me. I could see it being too sweet for some people with no way to ameliorate that issue, however. I'm very shocked and disappointed to see there are artificial sweeteners in the bag, as well. I think people should be able to sweeten their tea however they like. Many people don't like tea with sweeteners of any sort and it would probably sell better if all of it, even the honey, was taken out.I do really like this tea but the price is also very high per bag. I don't think I'd order it again, but I do like it.
